Babson College is known for entrepreneurship, but did you know that over a third of undergraduate students graduating from the class of 2023 were hired by the financial services industry? In addition, those finance students' average salary is higher than the average of the entire class of 2023!

As for the graduate school, students from Babson’s Master of Science in Finance (MSF) program experienced 100% employment within six months of graduation.

Congratulations to the class of 2023 on these incredible milestones! The Cutler Center is looking forward to continuing our support of our finance students at Babson College!

FEATURED EVENT

Distinguished Speaker Series with Brian Moynihan

To kick off the start of the spring semester, the Cutler Center partnered with Babson Scholars of Finance for our annual Distinguished Speaker Series with Bank of America CEO Brian Moynihan. With over 300 guests in attendance in Knight Auditorium, Mr. Moynihan answered questions from Oleksandra Mukha ’26 and Emily Truszkowski ’26 before taking questions from the audience.

STUDENT NEWS

Babson extended its dominance at the CFA Society Boston’s local research challenge, winning the competition for the fourth consecutive year and the sixth time in the past eight years.
Babson placed sixth out of 43 leading international universities at Toronto's 2024 Rotman International Trading Competition.
Shannon O'Mara, associate director of credit research at Loomis Sayles, came to campus to discuss the Undergraduate Women's Investment Network program she founded with students.
Babson placed fourth at the Van Berkom John Molson Small-Cap Case Competition in Montreal.
Valerija Ilievska '24 was honored by FEI Boston as a 2024 Academic Award recipient for being an outstanding senior in finance.

FACULTY NEWS

Patrick Gregory, CFA, was promoted to Professor of Practice at the conclusion of the fall 2023 semester.

Professor Michael Goldstein has been named a 2024 AACSB Influential Leader.

Professor Jerome Taillard has been awarded the Joe Spinelli Term Chair in Finance.

Professor Kathy Hevert was featured on WBZ to discuss the Babson Financial Literacy Program.
