DEVELOPMENT UPDATE
Golf Maintenance Building Demolition: The golf maintenance building located by hole 17 will be removed over the next couple of weeks to make way for development of this site. The development of this site has always been planned and is included in the Sun Rivers Master Plan.

Big Horn Golf & Country Club will be constructing a new maintenance facility above the 1st green in the near future.

More details on the development of this site as well as other exciting development news will be posted soon, once details are confirmed.

Highway 5 intersection improvements: Final design is complete and the project will be going to tender soon. We expect construction to start in July and be completed by fall. Once dates are confirmed we will send out a notice.

Entrance roundabout: The roundabout plans are nearing completion, with construction expected to start this summer. More details will follow once dates are confirmed.

COMMUNITY NEWS
Trailer Parking
RV's and travel trailers can be parked on your driveway until October. If you need to park your RV or trailer temporarily in visitor street parking, please contact the office by email or phone to advise us, giving the address and a description of the trailer or RV. Note, this is only permitted for loading and unloading and is limited to 48 hours.
Utility trailers are only permitted to be parked at a home-site in compliance with the Rules. CLICK HERE to see the rules pertaining to utility trailers.
Golf Course Access
Walking access on the golf course is no longer permitted as the course is open for play. Please keep off the course unless you are a playing a round of golf.
Playground
The Playground Committee has applied for grants to assist with the cost of the playground construction. Once responses to the grant applications are received a final budget will be completed and we will move into construction.
DO YOU KNOW?
It is an offence to allow your dog to chase the Bighorn Sheep or Chukars. Conservation Officers can issue tickets to dog owners who's dogs chase wild animals. All dogs must be kept on a leash when outside your yard, even within natural areas in and around Sun Rivers.
While we're on the topic of dogs, we've said it many times, please clean up after your dogs. There are many doggy bag stations and garbage cans throughout Sun Rivers for your use.
EVENTS

With the pandemic continuing, the annual Garage Sale and Community Fair are again on hold. If possible, we will schedule these for later this year.

We will be organizing the annual Kamloops Food Bank Drive in August. Details to follow.
