We are so inspired and moved with the heartwarming display of love from the youth of St. Helen Church Faith Formation. The youth's participation in the 'Hearts for the Homeless' project for Valentine’s Day has brought joy and encouragement to our residents at the Samaritan Center. The heartfelt words of encouragement, affirmations, and expressions of God’s love and support, beautifully decorated on Valentine hearts, have touched the hearts of everyone here. With 125 hearts displayed throughout our center, the youth have truly made a meaningful impact on our community. We are grateful for their kindness and generosity.

Our transitional housing program at the Samaritan Center, which assists homeless families in Indian River County, is grateful for the support of the First Methodist Church's community outreach initiative, known as OLYN "Operation Love Your Neighbor As Yourself', inspired by Matthew 22:39. The Service Project was a team of volunteers who completed hours at the Habitat ReStore and on the job site for a previous Samaritan Center family who has picked their future home lot and are working towards their sweat-equity hours. This was truly a Spirit-filled day of service, where the team earned over 57 hours for our Samaritan Center client.

We express our deepest gratitude to CVS Soup Bowl at Work who raised over $750 dollars for the Samaritan Center! UAP Step Program

The Samaritan Center is grateful for the partnership with United Against Poverty.

STEP is a free 3-phase program that provides participants valuable skills, confidence and knowledge to help secure employment and reach financial goals. Congratulations to our Samaritan Center single Mom graduating STEP and a heart-felt THANK YOU to United Against Poverty in providing transportation to make her success possible.

The highly anticipated 18th Annual Bernard & Betty Egan Memorial Golf Classic will take place on Friday, May 31st, 2024, hosted at the esteemed Indian River Club located at 800 Carolina Circle SW, Vero Beach, FL 32962.
