Voices of Gun Violence Project
A team of researchers and community members are working on project that concerns gun violence in the Greater Milwaukee area. Gun violence impacts communities in different ways, from suicide to domestic violence and homicide. Those affected by these incidents have stories to tell, and the team wants to hear them and help share their stories with the public to help increase awareness and potentially influence policy in the state as well as across the United States.
If you have a story of gun violence in the Greater Milwaukee area, which includes the surrounding counties in southeastern Wisconsin, and are at least 14 years old, they invite you to share your experience as a part of this on-going project. With your consent, your story would be publicly shared as part of Voices of Gun Violence, a collaboration between the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Carroll University, and Mothers Against Gun Violence.
