COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic
There will be a COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic, hosted by the City of Galt, held on Thursday, August 5th, from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm. What you can expect:

  • Johnson & Johnson vaccines will be availale
  • Walk-ins are welcome
  • No appointment necessary
  • Spanish-speaking staff will be available throughout the clinic.

New SBA PPP Loan
Forgiveness Application Platform
The Small Business Adminstration (SBA) just announced they are rolling out an efficient application platform that will allow businesses that have borrowed less than $150,000 (through participating lenders) from the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) to apply for forgiveness of the loan directly through the SBA.

The new forgiveness portal will begin accepting applications on August 4, 2021. In addition to this platform, the SBA is setting up a PPP customer service team to help businesses complete their applications. The customer service team will be open Monday - Friday,
8 :00 am to 8:00 pm EST and will be able to answer questions about this process directly.

Lenders are required to opt-in to this program through https://directforgiveness.sba.gov.
