Night Skies in Shenandoah National Park

National Parks are becoming a refuge for people from city light pollution. Join amateur astronomers as they present a provocative presentation on controlling light pollution as you gaze at the heavenly stars through telescopes.   Held at the Big Meadows Area (mile 51, inside the Rapidan Camp Gate). Free to all park visitors. A blanket, chair, and flashlight are recommended.  Presentation is cancelled if there is inclement weather. G-Girl Productions is bringing their furbaby fundraising fashion show to New York  . To date, they have raised over $100,000 for charities and rescues across the country. The weekend extravaganza begins Friday with the International Night and Saturday will feature the Cotillion, the most prestigious event of the year where celebrity judges from the pet fashion world will select winners. Fundraising will take place benefitting Yorkie911 where guests can participate in raffles, a live auction, 50/50 and silent auction. Sunday will feature an Iconic NYC & Hamilton tour. Join us at this dog friendly outdoor splash pool party! Humans must be 21+ as Mimosas will be served! She was on their urgent list and when we saw her face we knew we had to save this loving girl. Like the great Mamma she is, this girl loves kids! Mamma is hoping to find a family to love her.
