Holy Spirit Parish Weekly Newsletter

This is a week of (relatively) lesser known Saints, which is a great witness to us. What matters is not fame or notoriety but being a loyal friend to Christ!

If you are currently or have been a parish volunteer in the past two years and would like to attend the Volunteer Dinner, please RSVP on the website or via the link below.

We also have our Ladies Guild Garage Sale this week! Make sure to donate your extra stuff on Monday or Tuesday.

Finally, is Halloween at its core a Pagan/Satanic night? Or actually a Catholic invention?

This is your weekly update of what's going on in the parish.

2022 Volunteer Appreciation Dinner

Some Thoughts for Reflection

The (Fake) Pagan History of Halloween

Neo-pagan websites claim that Halloween was an attempt by early Christians to "baptize" the Gaelic harvest festival of Samhain. Because of this persistent idea, some Christians are hesitant to participate in anything associated with Halloween.
