Spencer and Business Insurance (BI) have joined forces to award scholarships to top students who aspire to pursue careers in risk management and insurance.

Thanks to BI's generous sponsorship, our 2023 BI Spencer Scholars Ryan Fick and Ryan Orzeck had the privilege of attending the acclaimed BI U.S. Insurance Awards event and connecting with industry experts.

During the event, they addressed the audience alongside our Executive Director, Megan Miller, expressing their gratitude for the BI scholarship.

Spencer and the LAAIA

This article reviews the partnership between Spencer and the Latin American Association of Insurance Agencies (LAAIA) and how we collaborate to provide scholarships for Latino students.

These scholarships have been established to help talented individuals access higher education and professional development opportunities within the insurance industry.

Our goal is to promote diversity and inclusion within the industry, and the scholarships will be awarded to those who have demonstrated leadership qualities and a strong commitment to making a positive impact.

We are happy to announce that Spencer Board Member, Dr. Cassandra Cole, was appointed to join the American Risk and Insurance Association (ARIA) board of directors!

The new ARIA Directors will assume their role at this year's ARIA Annual Meeting, taking place in Washington DC, August 6-9, 2023.
