Teen Artist Teddy Continues to Create Beautiful Works of Art!

Teddy Wernery is a teen with autism who has a budding career as an artist! Local to Cincinnati, Teddy first donated his artwork to Autism Connections when he was 12 years old, at that time focusing on learning about Impressionism and about the work of artists like Monet, Renoir, and Degas. When his painting sold, Teddy concluded that he was finally a "real artist." Now, 3 years later, he has contributed over 10 paintings to the Art Across the Spectrum art auction!

In Teddy's words, "I love art! Painting and creating art makes me happy, and the art museum is my happy place!" He aims to continue developing his artistic abilities and build his career as a "real" artist.

Art featured on this page is Teddy’s original work. After garnering major attention and notoriety at Art Across the Spectrum in 2023, Teddy graciously allows Autism Connections the use of his designs on thank you cards for our donors. We are so excited to show you what Teddy has in store for Art Across the Spectrum 2024!

All event proceeds help us provide more individualized programming and support to the autistic children and adults in our community. Tickets and sponsorships are still available – we would love to see you there!
