It's that time of year. Teams have formed, mentors are getting involved, equipment is be assembled and the focus is on building the best robot.

I know this firsthand, having spent the last few weekends helping my son build a new battery cart for his team.

V-TapGuide Hand Tap Guide Set

(Inch and Metric)

V-TapGuide™ by Big Gator Tools™ is made of a special alloyed steel that is ground and heat treated for durability. The guide holes are smooth, unlike drilled or reamed holes. Guide holes are sized for ANSI standard ground taps.

Eliminate tap breakage due to improper alignment. Automatically squares up the tap with the surface. 90-degree V-groove along the bottom allows perpendicular alignment on round parts or corners

The inch V-TapGuide handles taps for UTS screw sizes of #0, #1, #2, #3, #4, #5, #6, #8, #10, 1/4", 5/16", 3/8", 7/16", 1/2", and 5/8".

The metric V-TapGuide handles taps for metric screw sizes of 1.6 mm, 2 mm, 2.5 mm, 3 mm, 3.5 mm, 4 mm, 5 mm, 6 mm, 8 mm, 10 mm, 12 mm, 14 mm, and 16 mm.

Portable, pocket size and Protective plastic storage tube is included.

Chris' Tips

The 90° V-groove in the bottom allows you to use this on round work or on the corners of square or rectangular work.
