In response to the rapidly spreading Omicron variant, the Province of Ontario has announced the re-introduction of capacity limits to reduce opportunities for close contact and reduce the spread of the virus. To see further information, please visit: https://news.ontario.ca/en/release/1001366/ontario-further-strengthening-response-to-omicron

Special Olympics Ontario recognizes the importance of reducing opportunities for the virus to spread. As a result, we are making the difficult decision to pause all in person programs until January 31st, 2022. This will include all sport programs, meetings, fundraising events, etc. School based programs will follow the direction of their local school board. Partner programs will follow the direction of their Provincial Sport Organization.
