Hello all! This is a very important message regarding Yearbook related submission dates and purchasing of Yearbooks! Many of these dates are easily forgotten, so make sure to add them to your calendar. Also, ensure that that your student is checking their emails and listening to morning announcements for updates! Every year we have many upset parents and students who missed deadlines and are not featured in the Yearbook. Please understand that we run under tight deadlines and are NOT able to make exceptions. Here are some FAQs: 

Where and when can I buy a yearbook? 

The yearbook can be purchased through Touchbase (https://wa-bellevue.intouchreceipting.com/). If you are a first-time user, you can sign up with your parent view email. Once you are into TouchBase, click on the gray box with the student’s name, then “my school”, then under “categories”, press “Yearbook”. Once you have done this, recognize if your student has or does not have ASB. If your student has ASB, select the option to purchase a Yearbook for $80 and if your student does not have ASB it should give you an option to purchase a yearbook for $90.

Guarantee your student a Yearbook by purchasing from now until the end of the calendar year. After January, we will only have a limited amount to be sold. 

When and where can seniors submit their portraits and quotes? 

We are collecting senior portraits and quotes from now until February 2nd. Please email bhsbeacon@bsd405.org with subject line: “Senior Portrait, Quote + your students first and last name”.

No late submissions will be accepted. 

When are senior funny ASB photos? 

A Yearbook tradition is for the graduating class to take funny ASB photos on picture retake day, November 29th. This is the only time seniors will be able to take these photos, make sure your senior does not miss this! Though these are supposed to be funny photos, please make sure your senior is taking an appropriate photo. 

When and where can seniors submit baby photos? 

Another Yearbook tradition is to collect each member of the graduating classes baby photo. We are collecting senior baby photos from now until Friday, November 10th. Please e-mail bhsbeacon@bsd405.org with subject line: “Senior baby photo + your students first and last name”. No late submissions will be accepted. 

When and where can parents purchase and design a senior advertisement? 

Parents can purchase and design a senior advertisement from mid-October-January. Keep in mind, there are two purchasing windows so there are two prices depending on when you purchase your senior’s advertisement. The first purchasing window will close Friday, December 1st for reduced price. After Friday, December 1st, our second window will be open till Tuesday, January 2nd when the advertisements will be sold for full price. The second window is the last opportunity to purchase your senior’s advertisement so be sure to purchase and design the advertisement by January 2nd. When do students receive a pre-purchased yearbook? 

Pre-purchased Yearbooks will be distributed in the Commons at the Rumble, Wednesday, June 5th. If your student is unable to pick up their Yearbook then, they can pick theirs up anytime after the Rumble in Mx. Maki’s (room 0103).
