Welcome to this month's edition of “Special Delivery”, the monthly newsletter from Miracle Babies! We are proud of our work, and it is important to share these accomplishments with supporters like you!
We had quite the year in 2022! Take a look at our 2022 highlight video to feel inspired and be a part of the impact in 2023!
Special Delivery Transportation
115,000 miles and 2800+ rides logged providing home-to-hospital-to home shuttle service.
Care Packages
2700 care packages delivered across Southern California, containing essential items and resource materials to aid and comfort families during their baby’s NICU stay.
Mental Health Support
200 individual therapy sessions providing individual therapeutic counseling via telemedicine.
Diaper Distributions
275,000 Diapers Distributed

#12 Days of Giving
For our #12DaysOfGiving, parents and peers recognized and nominated special heroes who impacted their NICU experience. 12 NICU care providers were randomly selected and showered with gifts in collaboration with WaterWipes.

#Santa's Workshop
Thank you to all who donated to this year's Santa's workshop. Over 70 children were gifted over 300+ gifts this holiday season.

The Rite Aid Healthy Futures Foundation supported Miracle Babies programming with a little extra love during our Giving Tuesday campaign. The Rite Aid Foundation continues to assist families in need, especially those in underserved neighborhoods, focusing on the areas of health, wellness, race, and equity.

Miracle Baby Bladimir was born on 9/22/22 at 26 weeks weighing 2 pounds, 9 ounces spending his first three months in the NICU.
On New Year's Eve, Bladimir's mom Amanda shared her baby was finally going home. She also shared, "Thank you for being part of our journey this year and supporting us with rides and other amazing assistance. We really appreciate Miracle Babies and I can’t wait for you to meet our little guy”. Congratulations!

Marianela has been affiliated with Miracle Babies since its founding in 2009. Marianela has been instrumental in the foundational build and implementation of all of Miracle Babies' current program initiatives. Marianela is committed to serving others, especially our marginalized communities.

Thanks to Emily #MBOC and Mignon #MBLA for driving to San Diego to pick up care packages and back to Orange County and Los Angeles to deliver care packages for parents with babies at CHOC, UCI, CHLA who spent the holidays in the NICU.
