Life Celebration is Scheduled!

The family of Arnold Sherman and Pollard United Methodist Church have planned a Celebration of Life Memorial Service and Concert for Saturday, August 3, 2024. Below is the full schedule and information, and we ask that you help us get the word out. We must plan ahead for what we consider to be a significant event for all of us. Please continue your prayers for the family and the work still underway to honor Arnold's ministry and legacy.

Pollard United Methodist Church has also put together a special ongoing tribute for Arnold:

1. Effective immediately, all memorial gifts made to Pollard UMC in Arnold's name will be directed to upgrades and maintenance of the Theater/Stage in our Founders Fine Arts Center and/or to needed upgrades and maintenance for the Music Suite for Hand Bells and Choir located directly behind the Sanctuary. Both are significant ministry areas that Arnold shared vision for and helped us to create.
2. Also, as of today, The Pollard UMC Administrative Board has approved the naming of our Founders Fine Arts Center theater and Stage area as the Arnold and Judy Sherman Theater. A future date for this dedication and ceremony will be announced following the application of memorial gifts and improvements. This will be an ongoing legacy for what Arnold and Judy have given these many years in ministry.
