Dear Huron Valley Swim Club Members,
After ten years of outstanding service to Huron Valley Swim Club, Liz Hill has decided to retire as Club Manager. She has graciously agreed to help in the months ahead to effectuate a smooth transition of responsibilities to the new Club Manager of HVSC, Dane Dresch.
Liz served as Club Manager from 2008 to 2017, Assistant Manager from 2004-2007, and Head Swim Coach from 1985 to 1993. For the last 10 years, under her superior leadership and dedication, the Club has thrived. Pools have been resurfaced, tennis facilities have been upgraded, and pump and staff rooms have been improved. The daily operations of the Club have gone from clipboards and index cards to computers and Wi-Fi. Activities and social events at the Club have increased dramatically, where there is literally something for everyone. Additionally, her dedication to members and staff have truly made the Club a wonderful place. She will be deeply missed as Club Manager, but thankfully, she will continue to be an active member of the Club, swimming laps in the pool and picnicking with friends.
At this time, the Board of Directors is pleased to announce that the new HVSC Manager is Dane Dresch. Dane has been an Assistant Manager for the last 7 years and brings with him a wealth of pool management experience. Please join us at the Annual Meeting on Thursday, November 30 at 7:00pm at the Scio Township Hall to thank Liz for her outstanding service to HVSC and to welcome Dane as the new Club Manager.
