The Northern Colorado Chapter of Pheasants Forever is extremely excited to announce an amazing opportunity for youth interested in big game hunting! 

Due to cancelled events earlier in the year, we have the unique opportunity to auction a Ranching for Wildlife (RFW) combo deer/elk hunt for a youth hunter. This hunt will occur through the Burns Hole RFW program operated by Bull Basin Outfitters. Details are as follows:

  • The winner of the auction will have the opportunity to hunt both cow elk and doe deer during the 2020 season.

  • The licenses will allow one youth and one non-hunting companion access to the Ranch to hunt October 14-21 and also December 3-13. We realize this is short notice, and if you cannot make October work, hopefully December is a better option. Please note; the licenses cannot be split between two different youth participants. Additionally, it is our understanding the doe hunts offer high success while the cow tags are more difficult to fulfill.

  • Vouchers will be provided to the auction winner, who will then exchange them for licenses. The cost of the youth licenses are the responsibility of the auction winner.

  • Not included is guiding, lodging or meals. Overnight use on the Ranch is not permitted; guests may camp on adjacent public lands or secure their own lodging off the property. See other important details here.

  • This hunt will be sold in a sealed bid manner. If you would like to submit a bid, please send an email to nocopheasantsforever@yahoo.com by 6:00PM MDT on Tuesday, September 22, 2020. Please include "Burns Hole RFW Bid" in the subject line. 

  • The high bidder will be notified by Thursday, September 24, 2020.

  • The minimum bid is $250.00

  • All proceeds will be retained by Pheasants Forever.
