During the month of June, we get the opportunity to raise our voices for men’s mental health. When a male role model normalizes conversations about feelings, stress, and prioritizing their own mental health, you become a guiding light for boys who may be suffering in silence. You are a guiding light leading boys towards the path of resiliency and self-awareness.



I firmly believe the earlier we teach boys to prioritize mental health, teach the mind body connection, the better they will be able to self-regulate in a time in their lives that tend to be developmentally chaotic.

  • Virginia This Morning featured CKG Foundation on May 23, 2024. They highlighted the unique opportunity teens have to apply for a scholarship based on their commitment to prioritizing their mental health. It's the only local scholarship of this kind based in Virginia.


  • Dominion Payroll will host a Pancake Breakfast on June 14th. Network with others, enjoy breakfast, and hear from David & Grace Gallagher about the impact of the CKG Foundation.


  • Join CKG for a night at the Diamond on Saturday, August 10th. Celebrate with Nutzy, Natasha, and cheer on the Richmond Flying Squirrels!


  • CKG partners with Richmond Raceway for a unique event on Sunday, August 11th. With a $20 donation to CKG, you get the opportunity to walk a few laps on the iconic 3/4 mile oval just hours before the stars of NASCAR rev their engines. Join us for the On-Track for Mental Health Track Walk.

Join us for the SpeakUp5k on Saturday, Sept 7 at Byrd Park or Virtually!


Participant t-shirts have been ordered and should be arriving soon. We can't wait for you to see them in September.
