Attendance
Regular attendance and prompt arrival at school are vital to an Academy student’s attitude and subsequent success as a serious student.
Please note, absences for vacation are not excused and ALL students must be physically in attendance within the first 10 days of school to maintain membership/enrollment for this school year.

College Counseling Corner
Welcome to the 2023-24 school year! We are excited to welcome students and families. This year's college counseling team includes Mrs. Shannon Coolidge who is returning from last year, Ms. Monica Ware, who is joining us from Great Hearts Anthem, and Mrs. Aimee Vincent, who interned with us last year and is now joining us as a full fledged member of the college counseling team!
Our goal as college counselors is to provide the tools for each student to develop a list of colleges that will be a good fit for their academic, social, and financial needs. We encourage parents and students to read the weekly Friday Wrap-Ups to stay abreast of key dates, meetings, and opportunities.
We are available by phone, email, Zoom and in-person meetings:
Mrs. Shannon Coolidge: Schedule a Meeting
Mrs. Aimee Vincent: Schedule a Meeting
Ms. Monica Ware: Schedule a Meeting with Ms. Ware by signing up on the schedule outside of her office door or email.

From the Academy Giving Office
Dear Families,
I am excited for the beginning of another school year here at Scottsdale Prep and to introduce myself as Headmaster McAfee. I am starting my second year as a proud member of the Great Hearts Community. It is truly an honor to work in an educational setting that prioritizes the hearts of children, as well as their intellect. In my role as Headmaster, I am happy to be back on campus supporting our students, families, and teachers.
As you may know, our Community Investment and Public School Tax Credit campaigns make it possible to provide a rich curriculum and character-building activities for all students at our academy.
I want to sincerely thank the families who have chosen to partner with us by making a gift to Community Investment and Tax Credit already this year.
If you have not yet given, please consider partnering with us this year through a monthly gift to Community Investment and by designating your Public School Tax Credit to our academy. Your generosity leaves a lasting impact on our students.
Help support the education you have chosen for your child by: using this link or contacting our Family Giving and Community Engagement Officer, Lisa Noyes, at lnoyes@scottsdaleprep.org or 480 776-3571.
With gratitude,
| |
Mr. Mark McAfee
Headmaster
