August 10, 2023

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for an inspiring first week of the school year. Together, it has been a promising start that sets the tone for the journey ahead. Seeing our students return to school with excitement and enthusiasm has been truly heartwarming. Their smiles, curiosity, and energy have reminded us all why we are here – to play a part in the molding and shaping of children in happy and productive men and women.

The dedication of our teaching staff has been nothing short of exceptional. Their commitment to creating engaging classrooms and emphasizing the primacy of virtue has been inspirational.

I also want to extend my appreciation to our parents. Your partnership and support are invaluable. Your involvement in your child's education, whether it's through attending meetings, volunteering, or simply engaging in meaningful conversations at home, play a vital role in their success. Thank you for entrusting us with your children's education.

I am excited about the road we are on and the people we are traveling with. Go Spartans!

With Gratitude,

Mark McAfee

Headmaster

From the Academy Giving Office

Dear Families,

I am excited for the beginning of another school year here at Scottsdale Prep and to introduce myself as Headmaster McAfee. I am starting my second year as a proud member of the Great Hearts Community. It is truly an honor to work in an educational setting that prioritizes the hearts of children, as well as their intellect. In my role as Headmaster, I am happy to be back on campus supporting our students, families, and teachers.

As you may know, our Community Investment and Public School Tax Credit campaigns make it possible to provide a rich curriculum and character-building activities for all students at our academy.

I want to sincerely thank the families who have chosen to partner with us by making a gift to Community Investment and Tax Credit already this year.

If you have not yet given, please consider partnering with us this year through a monthly gift to Community Investment and by designating your Public School Tax Credit to our academy. Your generosity leaves a lasting impact on our students.

Help support the education you have chosen for your child by: using this link or contacting our Family Giving and Community Engagement Officer, Lisa Noyes, at lnoyes@scottsdaleprep.org or 480 776-3571.

With gratitude,

Mr. Mark McAfee
