Hey Healthy Starters!   The sparks are flying this July! With the year 2023 halfway over, Healthy Start has many exciting things on the agenda and are looking forward to a great rest of the year. The United Way of Martin County shows continuous support for nonprofits throughout our area. Our organization was able to receive a generous donation from United Way for our work. Thank you, United Way! We are gearing up for our annual Dancing with the Martin Stars Event that is taking place on September 23rd, 2023. Continue reading to find more information on this month's giveback night and how you can support Healthy Start! The 7th annual Madison's Miracles remembrance walk will be hosted by Healthy Start in October. We have opened registration for individuals and teams, as well as sponsorship opportunities. July 29th is a save the date day! Join us at the Back To School Bash from 9AM-12PM, and sneak out early to join our Strong Like A Mother mom group at 11AM.   Lastly, with the beginning of a new fiscal year, Healthy Start has updated our Board of Directors. Every year, the United Way of Martin County makes a collective impact across Martin County’s many incredible non-profit organizations in the areas of education, financial stability, and health. We are privileged to be one of this year’s recipients of a $32,000 health grant to provide many of Healthy Start’s critical services to our moms and babies most in need. Thank you so much for your continuous support of our work, and thank you for leading by example in giving back in volunteer time and financial treasure.

Dancing With The Martin Stars Giveback Night at Cork'd

Please come support Dancing with the Martin Stars on July 18th at Cork'd for a giveback night! Meet the star dancers and learn about how the Martin County Healthy Start Coalition benefits our community. A portion of sales go to directly to Healthy Start! Our annual Dancing with the Martin Stars fundraising event is one we look forward to every year. The proceeds from the event and giveback nights help Healthy Start support and educate pregnant women and infants.

Our Remembrance Walk Page Is Live!

For the last 6 years, Madison's Miracles, now a program of Healthy Start, has hosted a 1 mile remembrance walk and 5k run in honoring babies gone too soon. We are continuing the tradition with the 7th annual Remembrance Walk & 5K run! Our run will be at Memorial Park at 7AM on October 21st.
