Leaders show the way, sometimes through challenges we never expected. Raise your leadership capacity by attending this year’s Southern Tier Leadership Summit at the Cattaraugus County Campus of Jamestown Community College in Olean on Thursday, August 1.

Keynote speaker will be James Stitt Sr., executive chairman of Cutco Corporation. Mr. Stitt has led and continues to lead the movement towards more inspiring, fulfilling and productive workplaces.

Bob Forness is inviting former residents to Come Home/Stay Home. Bob (2006 LeadCatt Cohort alumni) is president and executive director of Olean Business Development Corporation and he will give an overview on his organization’s campaign slogan to bring people home for the more than 1,000 jobs coming to the area in the next 5-10 years. All of that but with a leadership twist on it!

Solid Communications = Positive Outcomes

Joe Pillittere Jr. will speak on how retention and engagement relate with the importance of solid communications that lead to positive outcomes. Joe Pillittere Jr. is with the Pillittere Group, a company that creates quality training and employee development programs for Western New York businesses and non-profit organizations.

SUMMIT FEE

Leadership Summit

General Public: The fee to participate in the summit is $70.

Alumni/Current Cohorts: The cost is $60 for alumni and current cohorts of Leadership Allegany, Chautauqua Leadership Network, and Leadership Cattaraugus.
