Registration Now Open for Training for Clinical Supervisors
Supervision Strategies for TF-CBT is a new two-day virtual training designed for supervisors of clinical programs who implement TF-CBT to children and adolescents. Attendees will develop concrete tools for supervision, build clinical supervision that will ensure fidelity to evidence-based practices, and gain a better understanding of how reflective supervision works within a CAC setting.

Jennifer Wilgocki and Kelly Wilson will be facilitating this training. Jennifer and Kelly have also facilitated TF-CBT: Advanced Topics and basic TF-CBT training offered by NCAC's National Training Center and are very knowledgeable and engaging presenters.

Please note that in order to attend this training you must be a clinician who supervises other clinician(s) implementing TF-CBT at a CAC, and you have to have attended and completed the basic TF-CBT training, plus consultation calls. Click here to review the information on our website prior to registering.

Due to the expected high level of interest in this training, we will be accepting registrations from only the Southern region (AL, AR, DE, GA, FL, KY, LA, MD, MS, OK, NC, SC, TN, TX, VA, WV and DC) at this time. If there are spaces available closer to the training, we will open it to other regions. Thank you for your understanding!

Training Dates: May 26-27, 2021
Cost: $99/per person
SRCAC @ Symposium
SRCAC staff will be presenting at this year's virtual Symposium. For those of you who have registered for the conference, be sure to check out these sessions:
Greg Flett will deliver a simulive presentation, "Your Team Really Does Want to Sing Kumbaya...Just Don't Call It That" on Monday, 3/22 at 1:00 PM (CST).

Karen Hangartner will be participating in a live session, "Continuing the Conversation: An Expert Panel on Solutions for Addressing Secondary Traumatic Stress!" on Thursday, 3/25 at 12:30 PM (CST) and co-presenting an on-demand training, "Parent Professionals: Vicarious Trauma, Parenting, & Prevention."
Be Sure to Stop by the SRCAC Virtual Booth!
SRCAC will have a virtual booth at Symposium (booth 2). Stop by for a video chat with SRCAC staff with questions you have or just to say, "Hello!" If you want to meet with a specific SRCAC team member, email crossi@nationalcac.org to schedule a time.
For CACs and Chapter organizations who are onboarding new board of director members, the "Board of Directors Blueprint" is ideal. This four-module, self-paced online learning tool will quickly initiate new board members on their roles and responsibilities, the CAC/MDT model, hiring, supervising, and supporting EDs, and understanding the real impacts of secondary traumatic stress on staff, productivity, and ability to effectively provide services to children and families.
With in-person trainings being limited or unavailable, this online tool provides the essential information your board members will need to be successful in their roles. Please suggest this tool to your board!
