V-28 Bay

We unleashed the new V-28 Bay in southern waters, giving hull No. 2 a chance to stretch her legs during the Viking Key West Challenge’s lay day. She boasts a Valhalla Grey gelcoat with a hardtop, Release Marine teak helm seating, a faux teak toe rail and an abundance of fishing equipment and accessories. Above: With twin Mercury V8 300s propelling her double-stepped running surface, the boat blasted several miles offshore quickly and efficiently.

At 28’ 1" and a beam of 9’ 3”, she’s one big bay boat. And with that greater size, you get more space for everything – including live wells. In addition to the two 25-gallon live wells under the aft casting deck, you have another 28 gallons of storage forward for your live bait. 

The V-28 is equipped with top-shelf equipment from bow to stern, beginning with a Minn Kota Riptide Instinct QUEST trolling motor with remote control and automatic stow and deploy.

Get into some skinny water with the V-28 – she draws only 18”.

The V-28’s large forward casting platform gives you plenty of room to throw a cast net, while the dual Blade Edition Power-Poles – also operated by remote control – keep the boat in position.

Not only does our new bay boat deliver a fast and economical ride (the steps decrease drag while increasing speed), she’s also smooth and dry with chines and strakes that knock down any spray. The V-28 is also available with single Mercury Verado 400, twin V6 Mercury 225s, single Yamaha V8 450 or twin Yamaha I4 200s. Jack plates are standard with all engine packages. The boat is also offered with a hardtop and a custom stand-on console second station, or (like hull No. 1) no hardtop.
