Business Spotlight

Mari's Floral, Wine & Gifts

Mari will be completing 29 years in business this May 1st. "I am very excited and proud of this accomplishment. I am truly thankful to all my loyal customers through the years who continue to motivate me daily to create beautiful flowers for their occasions".

She started her business on Brady Street and was there for 10 years. "It included a coffee bar, and I was super hyped up on espresso always!". Thereafter, she opened at 1019-21 Milwaukee Ave that is currently Barbiere's and finding her forever home at 905 Milwaukee, completing extensive renovations. "The vibe in all my business locations have been fun and super customer-friendly, creating a welcoming, feel-good/happy place store for customers, friends and families."

She encourages and supports fellow business owners and loves the South Milwaukee community, noting how business friendly the city is. When asked to share something people may not know, "I designed my flower logo on the coffee cups, and I have 2 degrees in languages Spanish and French."
