Soup-er Bowl Food Drive Saturday, Feb 11

The Schaumburg-Hoffman Estates Lions Club and the Hugs & Mugs Cafe of GiGi's Playhouse are hosting a Soup-er Bowl Saturday Food Drive on Feb 11, 2023. Drop off your food donations 9am - 1pm.

Food items will be donated to the Schaumburg Township & Hanover Park Food Pantry. We are asking for non-perishable food donations. We are also collecting eyeglasses, hearing aids and old phones.

On Thursday, February 2 members attended the Hoffman Estates Chamber Celebration of Excellence. At the event our Lions Club was awarded Public Sector / Non-Profit Partner of the Year!

PADS of Elgin Food Serving

On Sunday, January 29 our Lions Club served a Turkey dinner with mashed potatoes, gravy, veggies, cranberry sauce and desserts at PADS homeless shelter.

January Meeting

At the January meeting we had Special Guest, Ms. Marina Lvovich from the Schaumburg Township’s Senior Services. Her presentation covered an overview of their services, educational, social programs and special events.

In 2022 they served 16,835 clients. In 2022 our Lions Club served 391 seniors over four Senior Saturdays. They are always looking for volunteers for their Friday Market Days 10am – 3pm (Every other Friday)
