Pool Vendor Termination/Pool Reopening Update

The Board/Developer voted and approved this past Wednesday to terminate the pool and porter service vendor due to lack of service. We have rehired the previous pool & porter vendor temporarily to provide services until we receive new contract bids for the Board to review. Once the Board reviews vendor contracts and approves a contract, we will provide an update to our residents in that weekly newsletter. We appreciate everyone’s patience in the matter and we will get the pools reopened as quickly as possible. If you have any questions please give us a call at (972) 210-7120.

Storm Repairs/Arch Application Requests

The Board/Developer has approved to waive the $50.00 Arch Fee if you have any storm damage that needs repaired or replaced and you’re planning on using the same materials, colors and items being replacement. We just ask that you still submit the Arch Application so we are aware of the construction going on in your lot and we are aware of the timeframe of the repairs being made. We have attached a blank copy of the Arch Application below and you may also fill this out online through the website at https://www.sonomaverdeassociation.com/modification-requests/. If you’re planning on changing the roof shingle colors or a different type of fence and stain color, we do require that you pay the $50.00 Arch Fee with submitting the Arch Application filled out. Please see the attached copy of the Arch Guidelines and the pre-approved trees and fence stain options as well.

Common Area Storm Damage Repairs Update

We appreciate everyone’s patience with making repairs and/or replacing items throughout the common areas from the severe storm we had a few weeks ago. We currently have an insurance claim open and meeting with the insurance adjuster next week, we are also working on bids for these repairs to get done as soon as possible. The repairs include and not limited to; new pool furniture, tile replacement in pool, sports park fencing and flooring, pools gates and fencing, volleyball & tennis court netting, baseball diamond damage, common area street and signage, street lamppost replacements, trampolines being removed from the ponds, tree removal, amenity center roof replacement, clock tower lighting replacement, and amenity center lighting replacements. June Yard of the Month

Voting is open for "June" Yard of the Month. With summer upon us, adding a little color is cheerful and increases curb appeal. This program is sponsored by Sarah Naylor with Briggs Freeman Sotheby's International Realty. Voting will close on June 20th and we will announce the winner the following week.

Teen Pool Party & Movie Night

Due to lack of interest we will cancel this event. We will replace this event with a family movie night by the pool in July. Stay tuned for more information!

It's just over two weeks until our biggest event of the year. Make your plans now to attend our annual Independence Event presented by Hobert Pools. This event is open to all of our residents here at Sonoma Verde. We will have an afternoon of Food Trucks, Music, Inflatables, Klassic Kids Workshop, a Photo Bus and a Fireworks Show at dark. We look forward to celebrating our Indpendence with our Sonoma Verde Family!
