The first change is bittersweet. Marie Botte, FNP, who had been at Davis Square Family Practice for almost nine years will be starting an exciting new position as a diabetic educator and researcher at Boston Children's Hospital in mid-March. For those of you who had the privilege of receiving care from her, you know that she embodies everything you would want in a healthcare provider. She attempted to say her farewells in person but of course there was not time to do so for all of her patients. Marie would love to hear from you. Anyone who would like to express their congratulations to her can contact our office for her personal email.
While it may not be easy to fill Marie's shoes, we have two outstanding nurse practitioners joining Davis Square Family Practice by the end of March - Carmen Phillips and Christopher Mulvey. They are both talented and passionate about providing comprehensive healthcare - care that is holistic and suited to your individual needs. Even though Carmen and Chris have yet to start, we are booking appointments for them now. Because of this addition, we will now be able to provide care from 8am until 6pm Monday through Friday starting in April. And of course, if any of Marie's patients have a particular preference to see either Dr. Bershel or Michelle Clark for their healthcare, they should request to see them when they make an appointment.
