| Make-Up Classes - Valuable Information.... |
We ask you to schedule all make-ups at least 24 hours in advance, and no more than one week in advance. There are no time constraints or expiration dates on make-ups. You must be enrolled and your tuition must be paid up to date in order to schedule a make-up. Make-up classes must be scheduled for the same type of class that was missed. The only person, who can complete a make-up class, is the person who missed the class. If you can't attend a scheduled make-up, please call us to cancel your make-up. |

Hello to all our SoCal Gymnastics Families,
It's February and love is in the air... and so are the kids at SoCal Gymnastics! They are jumping off the mini tramp and bouncing off stretchy ropes and yoga balls. February is a month for both academy gymnasts and team gymnasts to play with new skills. Academy gymnasts are learning new routines on each of the apparatus, and team girls are learning skills to get them to the next competition level. You may hear our team girls cheering on their teammates to get that kip or giant on the uneven bars, or their back walkover on the balance beam. We have even introduced a few new pieces of equipment to make learning more fun. We will continue ongoing skill testing to move your gymnast to the next level. Of course, the best way to master those skills is to practice more. That's why we offer two open gyms for your gymnast to practice the skills that need more work:
1. Friday - 5:30 to 7:00PM
2. Saturday - 11:00AM to 12:00PM

SoCal Aloha All-Star Cheeleaders Continue Their Success
Congratulations to the Aloha Youth Squad for a 1st place WIN at the USA Winter Classic, and a 3rd place finish at the CheerPros California State Championship. The Aloha Senior Squad continues to shine competing in a very tough, seasoned division. We are proud of their 6th place finish at the CheerPros California State Championship.
Next Up... JAMZ Nationals. This is a two-day competition the weekend of February 19 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Let's have our best performance yet!
*** CONGRATULATIONS CHEERLEADERS FOR EARNING TWO FULL-PAID BIDS ***
We are extending our competition season into March because our cheerleaders have earned two full-paid bids to the Best of the West Invitational being held on Sunday, March 20, 2011 at the Long Beach State Pyramid. Both squads placed in the top percentile of all the competitors at California State Championship, and their $90 per competitor fee has been waived. Congratulations girls!!!
Your hard work in the gym is being recognized by your coaches and at competitions.

ANOUNCING THE ARRIVAL OF BABY WEST!
SoCal Gymnastics and Aloha All-Star Cheer would like to congratulate Aloha Cheer Coach Ana and Dad Jason on the arrival of their new baby girl Parker Olivia West. She was born on Saturday, February 5, 2011 at 7:34AM. Parker weighed in at 7 lb. 10 oz. and is 20 inches long. She is gorgeous and healthy with a full head of beautiful hair.
We are happy for the West family during this amazing time; and wish them endless joy and happiness.
