Walking Away Empowered
Mark Goudelock and Tanee's Thomas-Tedford's Story
When Lexington County First Responder Mark Goudelock found himself struggling with the stressors of life, his partner Tanee-Thomas Tedford knew just the place to help him, The Big Red Barn Retreat. Now, they both consider their lives to be completely transformed for good.
Because of the impact PATHH had, both consider themselves "outreach representatives" for the Barn, spreading the messages of PATHH throughout their EMT training classes. Learn more about their journey by clicking the orange button below!

Farm to Table Cooking Classes
When we come together to prepare a meal and eat with our friends or family, we are building lasting connections through the shared experience of eating together. For those that are struggling and feeling isolated, preparing a meal with trusted peers is a great way to create joy and purpose in their lives. Our Farm to Table cooking classes, taught by Farm to Flame Chef Jason Dersch, offer our Warriors the opportunity to learn new recipes and connect with their peers each month at the BRBR!
Veterans and First Responders are eligible to participate in this class. Spouses may also attend, as long as they fill out their own registration form and attend the class with the Veteran or First Responder. Farm to Table cooking classes fill up quickly, so please be advised that you may be asked to participate in a later course due to capacity.

Upcoming Volunteer Opportunities | |
Warrior PATHH Food Prep Volunteering
One of the most beloved aspects of the Warrior PATHH program are the purposeful and nourishing meals we get to serve our heroes during their 7-day stay. As the end of the year approaches, we are in need of gracious volunteers to help us prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner with our Warrior PATHH chefs!
By volunteering on a consistent basis, you get to see the extraordinary changes that happen within our PATHH participants as they advance through the program and create positive transformations in their lives.
Please be advised: we always try our best to make sure everyone receives a volunteer opportunity, but we cannot promise you will be scheduled. Spots are first come, first serve. You are not guaranteed a volunteer spot until you have received a confirmation message from the BRBR. Use the buttons below to sign up for our upcoming classes!
