Sea Grape Announces
"Artists of The Month":
Anne Tuttle and Bonnie Benande

Anne Tuttle focuses on maritime art,
capturing the beauty of this area's coastal scenes.  Anne works in colored pencil, combining her love  of drawing, detail, and color into a clean, uncluttered look. In addition
to working in colored pencil and graphite,
Anne uses a technique that dates back
to the Old Masters to create delicate
Silverpoint drawings.

Bonnie Benande studied the art of wheel thrown pottery while living in North Carolina. Locally, Bonnie has studied with many distinguished local potters. Bonnie incorporates seashells, palm trees, and sea life into her work. She focuses on creating stoneware that blends function with art. Her uniquely glazed pieces represent artwork designed to be used and are lead-free and microwave and oven safe.
