As part of 2024 One Book One Cozad events, Wilson Public Library welcome Humanities Nebraska speaker Yvonne Hollenbeck on Saturday, February 17, at 11am at the Wilson Public Library.

Yvonne is an award-winning quilter and one of the nation’s top award-winning cowgirl poets. She will present original poems and stories regarding the hardships experienced by her elders on farms and ranches in Nebraska, from homestead days to present. Be ready to listen to hilarious happenings from a rancher’s wife (although they were not very humorous when they happened!).

This presentation is made possible by Humanities Nebraska, the Nebraska Cultural Endowment, and Wilson Public Library as part of the HN Speakers Bureau.

Strawberry Lemonade

We love the burst of color in this brand new collection. Everyone needs a little pick me up this time of year!

The 60 inch wide cheater hexagon print is going quickly! We're seeing people fussy cut it for blocks, use it for quilt backings, or make tote bags.

We've been asked if we can put together kits for the Heart of the Home Sew Along that is pictured using these fabrics in the American Patchwork and Quilting magazine. If that interests you, give us a call and we can chat about options.

Below is a photo of a grouping we pulled together for a couple of other customers. We used the prints we had available from Strawberry Lemonade, then added some prints from Sherri and Chelsi's Favorite Things collection, then popped in some teals and an orange from Heather Peterson's collections to round it out.
