Ozone Festival News

The first Okanagan Zone Festival since 2019 is over and by all accounts, it was a great week of plays, learning, socializing and wine-tasting in Oliver. Congratulations to Theatre Kelowna whose play, Wit, won Best Production and many other awards. The play will represent our zone at Mainstage, the provincial festival in Vernon, July 11 - 16.

Shuswap Theatre's production of The Gravitational Pull of Bernice Trimble brought home three awards:

  • Meaghan Delaney - Honourable Mention, Best Female Role
  • Jean Brighouse - Artistic Achievement in Sensitive Portrayal of a character living with Alzheimer's
  • Marcus Delaney - Best Newcomer to Sound Design
