Empowering Futures: Smart Village Movement USA Raises Funds for Educational Initiatives in India

On May 30th, Smart Village Movement USA hosted a dinner benefit and fundraiser event in California, a testament to the collective power of NRI philanthropists. This event, which raised over USD 300,000, has paved the way for significant advancements in education in India. The funds will be allocated to five main education projects in Gujarat and Meghalaya, each one a beacon of hope for underprivileged students: Foundational Learning, STEM Literacy, Skill Center, Business Innovation Course, and a school infrastructure expansion project in Narmada district in southern Gujarat. Students take learning beyond the classroom in our STEM Innovation Hub

We are thrilled to share some delightful moments from the STEM Innovation Hub at Myngken Christian Higher Secondary School!

The Grade 6 students dive deep into STEM with geometrical measurements using real-life objects and our beautiful school surroundings.

You can see that these young minds are not just passive learners but active explorers of STEM. They're calculating the area of rectangles using classroom tables, measuring the circumference of tree trunks, and exploring angles and degrees in the playground.

We take immense pride in nurturing our future scientists and mathematicians, inspiring them to learn and grow through engaging educational experiences. These images are sure to bring a smile to your face as they capture the joy and excitement of learning in action. READ MORE
