Small Business Season is here!

Happy Small Business Season! From, November 1st, through December 31st, it's the time to show your support and stand behind our cherished local businesses by shopping small and local businesses. Small business are the backbone of our economy. 64% of our new jobs in the US come from small business. When people spend their dollars locally, more money stays local. On average, for every $100 sent locally, $68 of that stays local.

So, let's make a difference this Small Business Season. Your support means the world to these local businesses, enriching our communities and contributing to a thriving local economy.

Small Business Saturday on Payson Main Street! Small Business Saturday is a National Event meant to drive the public to shop local. Payson Historical Main Street presents itself as a perfect location for such an event. Main Street will be alive for this event with decorations, carolers, food trucks, Santa, and YOU!

November Breakfast Club

Join us for Breakfast Club on Tuesday, November 14th at 7:30 AM at the Huish Pace Center! Marian and Chris Scadden will share an interactive murder mystery with you.

Marian and Christopher Scadden are the creative duo behind a theater company. Marian, with a BA in children's theater, excels in directing diverse age groups in plays, including an adaptation of "Distant Serenade" attended by the author, Michael McLean. Chris, holding a BA in theater and an MA in bilingual education, combines performance with teaching, even creating impromptu songs for singing telegrams. With over 80 years of combined experience, they've impacted various audiences in diverse settings, aiming to create interactive live theater that brings joy to all.

ERA Brokers Consolidated opened its doors in 1982 in St. George, Utah. Since then, we have grown into a multi-state company with 18 locations. We opened our doors on Payson Historical Main Street in October 2022 and have loved being involved with the community since then. Utah County Managing Broker, Diane Jensen, is a Payson resident and loves contributing by being involved in the Chamber of Commerce and on Payson Main Street Committees. This week in Utah's land, water, and air - November 2023

September marked the end of Water Year 2023, and it was certainly one for the books. Snowpack, runoff and increases in reservoir storage all were all unusually large. Current estimates for the year's total runoff in the Colorado River Basin and increases in reservoir storage were the second largest recorded for the 21st century.

Salt Lake airport's newest art feature moves Utah's mountains closer its terminal

A new 75-ton new art feature unveiled Wednesday outside of Salt Lake City International Airport pays homage to Utah's mountains.

Legislature may tweak Utah's social media law, but Cox happy with age verification

Social media companies currently have until March 1, 2024, to enact new age verification policies per Utah's Social Media Regulation Act, which gives lawmakers time to tweak the law during the upcoming legislative session which begins in January.
