  1. Be a member of the Greater Dalton Chamber of Commerce

Dalton's first  quarter  COLI is 11.4% less than the US average. 

The Cost of Living Index measures regional differences in the cost of consumer goods and services.

Whit. County Sheriff's Office Dedicates New Training Facility
"Years from now, area law enforcement officers will still be reaping the benefits of the Whitfield County Sheriff's Office's new Training Center and Firing Range that was dedicated during a June 14 ceremony" said Sheriff Scott Chitwood.

School Systems' Summer Nutrition Program Feed Thousands
The program started on June 5 and will continue until July 21 Monday through Friday.

County sites include church buildings, community centers, playgrounds, apartment complexes, parks and other areas where children gather in the summer.
