Downtown Dalton's "Burr Park" 
Construction could begin on Burr Park in downtown Dalton in May if City Council members approve the concept.  It is hopeful that the park will be open in Spring of 2018.

Join the Greater Dalton Chamber of Commerce on May 3rd for the largest business to business networking in Northwest Georgia.  This event is free to the public and everyone is welcome.

Voters Approved ESPLOST
Dalton and Whitfield County voters approved the Education Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (ESPLOST) by a wide margin after voting on Tuesday, March 21st.

Business relationships are important to overall business success, and far too few borrowers continue in a meaningful relationship with their lender after their loan has closed.  In many cases, an adversarial type relationship develops over time. A common perception is that bankers only want to assist you when you don't need them.  Mark Twain even said, "A banker is a fellow who lends you his umbrella when the sun is shining and wants it back when it starts to rain."
