Slide Presentation
July 14, 2018
11:00 am - 1:00 pm

Arvada Public Library
7525 W. 57th Ave
Arvada, CO 80002

Cohousing is a great way to live in community. Did you know there are already 15 cohousing communities in Colorado's Front Range area? Don't miss this opportunity to hear why so many people want to be a part of this lifestyle.
We are working with a developer to build a site within the Geos neighborhood, in Arvada. Our home, called the Gatehouse, will be a three story building with individual flats, a common house and underground parking.
The plans we are going to show you are intended to give you an idea about the kind of community Ralston Creek Cohousing wants to create.
A part of the community’s open space will be set aside for organic farming and gardening such as a vegetable field, and fruit trees. We would love for you to join us.

GET INVOLVED!
Create the community you want to live in.
Get in on the "ground floor" as we design our community. We value your participation.

Here are Some Things to Do in Colorado!

Red Rocks
Red Rocks Park is a natural amphitheater with excellent natural acoustics. It is a strikingly beautiful place for outdoor concerts. Weather permitting, it also hosts a sunrise service every Easter. In addition to concerts, the park is home to the Colorado Music Hall of Fame and numerous hiking and biking trails.
Red Rocks is 15 miles from Geos.

The Chautauqua Auditorium
Originally located at the base of Boulder’s Flatirons and one of only 25 National Historic Landmarks in the state of Colorado, the Colorado Chautauqua is one of only a few remaining Chautauqua’s in the U.S. It is considered THE western representation of the cultural movement that swept the U.S. in the late 19th and early 20th centuries and is the only site west of the Mississippi that has been in continuous operation since its founding and with its original structures intact and used for their original purposes.

The main venue is the auditorium, which is accurately called “the barn” that comfortably seats over 1,300. The more intimate venue is the common house.

Denver Canter for the Performing Arts
The DCPA is 0.7 miles from Union Station, the end of the G-line from Arvada.
They have eight theaters of various configurations and sizes.

Check out the calendar at:  http://www.denvercenter.org

DCPA is also home the Boettcher Concert Hall, the first “in the round” symphony hall built in the US, and home to the Colorado Symphony.
