Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT),

also known as "micro-needling" or

best known by the name

SkinPen is a skin treatment that stimulates your skin’s natural ability to heal itself.

SkinPen uses tiny sharp needles to create thousands of mini micro-channels into your skin. In response to these micro "injuries" your body responds & produces collagen.

Guess what happens?

Injured, inflamed cells ~ initiate signals

to repair cells ~ building

happier healthier skin!

Real Results

  • Smoother, younger-looking skin.

  • Changes visible within 1-6 weeks after treatment.

  • Many notice healthier looking skin immediately.

  • Skins natural repair process continues to progress over 60-90 days while forming collagen ~ new skin cells!

  • Collagen remodeling takes place over time and will continue to improve for up to 6 months after treatment(s).

  • Correction is best achieved by doing an initial series of 3-6 treatments.

  • Maintain those results by doing 1-2 treatments per year thereafter.

SkinPen Questions?

Let me answer!

Has your skin lost its glow? Have you noticed more fine lines & wrinkles?

Are you struggling with acne scarring?

If so, it may be time for some skin-loving rejuvenation with SkinPen!

Who’s a candidate?

Most, if not all people are great candidates for SkinPen. It can be used safely on all skin types.

Does it hurt?

Topical numbing is applied to the skin prior to treatment, making the procedure comfortable and relatively pain-free. Most report feeling slight "vibrations" like an electric toothbrush gently scrubbing the skin!

How long does it take?

Typically 30 minutes for full face; larger treatment areas may be up to 1-hour.

How many treatments?

Typically 3-6 treatments produce best results for skin response. Treatments are based upon your individual goals and the health of your skin. Expect to return within 4-6 weeks for your next procedure to ensure optimal results.

Is there downtime?

Yes, understand the skin is intentionally wounded and it will take 24-48hrs to rebound. You will “wear a windburn or sunburn appearance” in the first few hours lasting up to 24-48 hours. NO MAKEUP or SUNSCREEN for the first 24hours!

What about post-care?

You will be given special products to use. It's extremely important to NOT USE skincare products with ingredients that irritate or hinder skin recovery. Skincare routines can resume at 24-48hrs following initial skin recovery.

Antioxidants are a staple in many skincare formulations for good reason.

Aside from protecting your skin from harmful free radicals, antioxidants have the ability to soothe visible irritation and inflammation, brighten skin, build and preserve collagen from within to improve fine lines and wrinkles.

Applied topically, Vitamin C and Retinol are great at slowing the process of aging.

In short, they are truly a skincare powerhouse!

One of the very best ways to prevent skin oxidation by mitigating damaging free radical activity is to apply a stable antioxidant such as Vitamin C!

If you’re not using something with antioxidants under your daily sunscreen, it’s definitely time to start aging smartly & give your skin some serious protection.

Applying a Vitamin C serum topically EVERY MORNING can essentially keep your skin from turning brown!

Along with the gold standard

Vitamin C antioxidant serum,

you should definitely be using a well-formulated product containing Retinol.

With both options, remember these products DO take time to work!

But without a doubt, long-term use will change your skin by affecting gene expression to remodel your skin on a cellular level!

Vitamin C is an amazing skincare ingredient and I highly recommend that every single one of my clients use it!

IF "Vitamin A" i.e. RETINOL is not currently part of your nightly routine, I highly suggest you start immediately.

For those over 30 showing visible sun damage, it will greatly improve your skin over time! If you’re under 30, "retinols" work great for preventing premature skin aging

The most important thing is that whatever formula you choose to use, you MUST use it consistently. You will not be able to take advantage of the benefits if you use it sporadically.

A stable retinol product is best used in the evening. Start out using it twice weekly to acclimate your skin tolerance, minimizing dryness, flakiness & irritation.

Remember, during the day, it’s very important to use a stable antioxidant Vitamin C serum as it will help shield your skin from collagen damage that occurs from oxidative and environmental stress.

Retinol is an amazing skincare ingredient and I highly recommend that every single one of my clients use it!
