WHAT TO LOOK FOR IN AN INSTRUCTOR

AUTHOR: LUTHER CUTTS, HEAD INSTRUCTOR (NSCA LEVEL 3), COMPETITOR

The demand for instructors in the shotgun sports is constantly increasing. It would appear that more and more people are recognizing the benefits of learning in a structured environment, and thereby advancing their shotgun skill sets faster and more efficiently.
Not all instructors, however, are created equal, and the informed consumer should be able to determine if a specific instructor is going to be a good fit for them.

Look Who Was Visiting Silver Willow
During the smoky days of August this unusual looking, white nosed Moose was checking out what Silver Willow had to offer!
Feature Artwork for the Month
" Take A Long View "

This is a 12 X 10 in. original oil painting, framed.
Gwen Day ( co-owner of Silver Willow) painted this on site (in Plein Air)
at Cascade Ponds near Banff, looking north.
This painting was juried into the Leighton Centres “In The Open Air”
Show which starts Sept 11th until Oct 24th. On the weekend of Sept 11/12, they are hosting a "Paint the Foothills Art Competition" that Gwen will be participating in. She will have some additional "plein air" paintings in the weekend only, tent show along with some Alberta’s Top Plein Air painters.

The Leighton Centre resides on some 80 acres with one of the most stunning views of the Rockies in Alberta,
it’s an easy drive south from Calgary.
Hope you come out for this special event and say hello,
Gwen will be there all weekend.
To make a difference in someone`s life, you don`t have to be
 brilliant, rich, beautiful or perfect.
You just have to care!!
