Farewell to Anne, Jack & Pat!
 Welcome Joey!
We are so thankful to have had Anne, Jack and Pat working here at Silver Willow over the years. We are sad to have them leave but wish them all the best!

Jack has been a very hard worker over the years and has done lots for Silver Willow. He was always the guy to call if something on the course wasn't working right. He is heading to college in Lethbridge. Have fun and learn lots, Jack!

Anne has been our event coordinator since the start of last year. She has done a great job working with our cooperate groups. Anne has recently decided to pursue a new opportunity! Good luck Anne, we will miss your big heart.

Pat has been with us for many years; she finished up with Silver Willow at the end of May! Pat has been writing our newsletter for years, working the front desk, and helping out wherever needed. She has also been the banana bread master! Pat is enjoying more time with her grandkids and playing golf all year! Enjoy Pat!
Welcome Joey!
Joey started with us about a month ago and is the new groundskeeper.

Joey's plan is to work here for a few years until he finishes high school. His goal is to get his outdoor first aid certificate in Montana through YWAM (Youth With a Mission).

Joey already loves working at Silver Willow and enjoys making things run smoothly and keeping the course clean. Joey loves the outdoors and everything it entails, which fires his passion for hunting and fishing!

Welcome to the team, Joey!

BLOG Article - Luther Cutts
The Confluence of Safety and Etiquette

Author: Luther Cutts, Head Instructor (NSCA Level 3) and shotgun competitor

If you are reading this, you are likely one of the many people who really enjoys shooting sporting clays. We are a large and diverse group, ranging in age from our teens to those of us in our 80s, people from every walk of life. There are a lot of varied opinions within our population – what is the best gun, the best load, the best gauge, or the best target presentation.
One thing that we all seem to agree on, however, is safety. If this were not a safe sport, I am confident that the number of people shooting sporting clays would decrease by at least 95%. There is no way I am going to take my friends and family to a place where they would be exposed to unsafe practices and risk them being injured or worse. People who are unsafe with a firearm are not those I want to have anything to do with. Thankfully, 99.9% of the people I see at the club demonstrate good safety practices. One of the real attractions of going to Silver Willow is the effort everyone puts into being safe.
