The GiveLocalNRV Giving Day harnesses the generosity of the New River Valley community by raising funds and awareness for nonprofits serving our region during the month of June. The online event culminates in a 24-hour period of giving with incentive grants and prizes funded by generous sponsors.

Why participate? By participating in GiveLocalNRV, you'll be a part of an event that has engaged thousands of donors in raising nearly $3.6 million for nonprofits serving the NRV since 2014.

This event showcases the power of philanthropy and how a community can come together for something positive. Your organization can leverage the event in a variety of ways by fundraising for your mission and much more:

Important 2024 Dates

• The sign-up for the annual Giving Day event opens today! Organizations that wish to participate in the event must sign up each year even if they have participated in the past. This allows our team to anticipate who plans to actively participate in the event. Sign up via this form.

• Early Sign-Up Prizes: if you sign up your organization by March 15, you'll be entered into a drawing to win one of two $500 prizes. Winners will be randomly selected.

• 2024 Grants & Prizes: will be announced later this spring. Please note that we will not be offering the Buzz4Good episode or short video prizes as those were special 10th anniversary prizes. You can get some general details on grants and prizes on this page.

• Sign-up closes on Wednesday, May 15.

• Early giving opens on June 1. During early giving period, organizations have the opportunity to fundraise in the weeks leading up to the Giving Day and build momentum during that time.



• The 2024 Giving Day is noon to noon, Wed., June 26 to Thu., June 27.
