New Emergency Alert System
The Sacramento County Office of Emergency Services (SacOES) is moving to a new regional emergency alert system, Smart911. The City of Rancho Cordova relies on the SacOES emergency alert system to notify residents in real time when there is an emergency.
Due to this switch, all Rancho Cordova residents must create a new account with Smart911 by October 1, 2023 to receive emergency notifications. All residents must create a new account even if they previously signed up for emergency notifications.
Sign Up for Emergency Alerts by October 1
