New Updates:

  • Free Dress Day As a thank you to all of our students for their beautiful participation in mass, students may be out of uniform on Monday, March 28th. Students may wear jeans, sweatpants and a Shrine shirt or top with school colors, but no leggings. Thank you to all of the students

  • Report Cards Third Quarter Report Cards go home on Monday, March 28th.

  • April Lunch Orders The April lunch menu is open in FACTS to order lunches and it will be closed on Thursday, March 31st. Please place your orders ASAP so that our kitchen staff is prepared to serve delicious lunches to our students in April.

  • Shrine Spirit Wear Sale The Mother's Club is hosting a Shrine Spirit Wear pop up sale on Friday, April 1st from 2:30pm to 4pm. Please click here for more information.

  • Little Caesars Pizza Kit Fundraiser Little Caesars Pizza Kits are a great way to support our school. Students may sell them now through April 15th. Orders will be picked up in person during the week of May 2nd. Please see here for further details. Thank you parents for your support!

Continuing Updates:

  • Volunteers Needed We are in need of lunchroom and playground volunteers. If we do not have enough playground volunteers, the K-5 students are not able to play on the play structure. We must have enough volunteers to cover the parking lot and the little playground.

  • Volunteer Hours for 2023-2024 During 2022-2023 (March 1, 2022-February 28, 2023) please record your volunteer hours to qualify for Shrine Catholic Schools Parish Subsidized Tuition for the 2023-2024 school year. Please see the Volunteer Hours Log to record your volunteer time with further details on the requirements for the subsidized tuition rate. We encourage you to sign up to volunteer in the lunchroom and on the playground.

  • Father Horn All are welcome to drop off get well cards for Father Horn at the receptionist desk in Heritage Hall. We will collect and mail them to him at his family’s home. In addition, there is a banner in Heritage Hall that everyone is welcome to sign with permanent markers (provided by the parish). Please only sign with permanent markers. Once the banner is filled with signatures we will deliver to Fr. Horn's family home. 


  • March is Reading Month! Angela Clark, Allison Forrest and Jennifer Lombardi have planned an Olympic themed reading month. Please see the link for further details. Go for the Gold!

  • Hearing Screenings Hearing screenings will be provided by the Oakland County Health Department March 28-30 for students in Preschool 4, JK and Grades K, 2 and 4.

  • Shrine Schools Tuition Assistance

Shrine Catholic Schools offers tuition assistance based on need for Kindergarten – Grade 12. Our generous alumni, donors, and friends make it possible for us to help families with the sacrifice of Catholic education. Families must apply for tuition assistance through the FACTS Management Grant & Aid Form. To apply for Shrine Tuition Assistance, log in to your current FACTS account (found at this linkhttps://online.factsmgt.com/signin/4HLCM). If you do not have a FACTS account, you can create a new one. Once logged into the system, a box with FACTS Grant & Aid is on the right hand side of the screen with a “Start Application” button. The application must be completed online and the fee is $30.00. Documentation can be uploaded while completing the application. Shrine Tuition Assistance applicants are encouraged to submit information by March 6th (first round) or April 30th (second round), 2022. For families with an incoming 9th grader for 2022-2023, you are encouraged to apply at your earliest convenience for priority consideration. 

Tuition assistance awards will be communicated within three weeks following the above deadlines. The FACTS Grant & Aid Form requires the following information:

  1. Copies of your most recent Federal tax forms including all supporting tax schedules
  2. Copies of your most recent W-2 forms for both you and your spouse (if applicable)
  3. Copies of supporting documentation for Social Security Income, Welfare, Child Support, Food Stamps, Workers’ Compensation and TANF (if applicable).

  • Archdiocesan Tuition Grants

Archdiocesan grants are available for Catholic families who are members of a Catholic parish within the Archdiocese of Detroit and have a demonstrated financial need. The qualifying child must be entering Kindergarten – Grade 12 at a Catholic elementary or high school within the Archdiocese. Families must apply for financial aid through the FACTS Management Grant & Aid Form.


To apply for Archdiocese of Detroit Tuition Grants, log into your FACTS account or create a FACTS account (found at this linkhttps://online.factsmgt.com/signin/4HLCM). Once logged into the system, a box with FACTS Grant & Aid is on the right hand side of the screen with a “Start Application” button. The application must be completed online and the fee is $30.00. Documentation can be uploaded while completing the application. The FACTS Grant & Aid Form requires the following information:

PLEASE NOTE: For families that belong to a Catholic parish, the application needs only be filled out once to be considered for both Shrine Tuition Assistance and the Archdiocese of Detroit Tuition Grant, provided the information is submitted and completed by the deadline.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are applying for the Archdiocese of Detroit Tuition Grant, please include the Pastor Signature Form.
