Share Christ With Muslims In The UK!
Making the most of their unique context, OM's Turning Point ministry reaches Muslims in north, west, and central London. Ordinary Christians from around the world can make an incredible impact as they share Christ with followers of Islam in this bustling, cosmopolitan capital of the U.K. London has been called the political and evangelistic center of Islam, being home to 2,000 mosques and 5,000 Qur'anic schools.
In addition to all the English trappings you would expect to find in London, the city is home to a mix of residents from across the 10/40 Window nations of the Middle East, North Africa, and South Asia. Many of these Muslim peoples have immigrated from places that do not allow open Christian witness. In the U.K., believers can freely share Christ with them. And in the summer, the number of Muslims swell as many visit their family and friends, or just come as tourists.
Teams from U.S. churches work alongside Turning Point staff to engage Muslims on the streets, in parks, on university campuses, and at local businesses. Training on what Muslims believe and how to share Christ with them is an integral part of the outreach. Bring Hope To
The Balkans
OM's mission in the Balkans is to build bridges of trust with local communities, reach young people and plant churches that will serve as the foundation for ongoing community transformation in the countries of Crotia, Bosnia-Herzegovinia, Serbia, Montenegro, Kosovo, Albania, Macedonia, Greece, and Bulgaria. OM's long-term workers desire to be agents of change, facilitators in community development and supporters of local believers as they develop initiatives of their own. The Balkan people need a holistic gospel that meets their spiritual, emotional and physical needs. As people in this region are discipled, they demonstrate Christ's love and His power to change lives.
But OM realizes that we cannot accomplish this mission by ourselves. We need partners who will join with us and local Balkan churches to reach these nations. Is God calling your church to step out and be a part of this great work?
We invite you to send a team from your church to one of the Balkan nations. Opportunities for involvement include a creative arts outreach, friendship witnessing, children's and youth ministry, leadership training, and using the gifts of your members in activities that minister to the poor and marginalized. |

Canada: Engage The World Close To Home
Canada's open immigration policy makes it a prime place to experience and minister to peoples of different cultures and languages without traveling thousands of miles from home.
In some metropolitan areas of Canada as many as half the residents were born outside the country. As a result, your adult or youth church team will meet and share the love of Christ with Buddhists, Hindus, Sikhs, Muslims, Mormons, and many others.
Summer outreaches include a blend of learning and exposure about world religions with the opportunity to get to know people of these faiths in order to share Christ with them. Teams employ a variety of evangelistic methods including creative arts, literature distribution, and practical service projects. And the outreaches are conducted in partnership with a local church so that believers who live there can follow up on key contacts.
Church teams are still needed to join the 10 summer outreaches that remain available in Canada, so it is not too late for you to be involved.
