Girl From The North Country | Dec. 5 -10 | There are still great tickets available for this award winning musical. Against the backdrop of Bob Dylan’s songs, the musical weaves a tapestry of human struggles, love, and resilience. Girl from the North Country is an exploration of the human condition, where souls search for solace, and the power of music connects hearts in troubled times.

  • Elf | Dec. 1, 6 p.m | Presented by, It Came From Schenectady. This very special ICFS showing will have prizes & surprises including All-You-Can-Eat Popcorn with toppings from the Elves’ four main food groups: candy, candy canes, candy corn and syrup; Elf trivia and much more!

Mohawk-Hudson Bike-Hike Trail 

  • Get out on your bike or walk and enjoy some fresh air on this paved shared-use path connecting Albany and Schenectady counties, including an on-street segment through the heart of Downtown Schenectady. Click here for a PDF map of the Cohoes to Rotterdam Junction section of the trail. 

 

Stockade Cellphone Guided Walking Tour

  • Stroll through and learn about Schenectady's historic neighborhood dating to 1661. SUNY Schenectady County Community College

  • MVP Health Care Fitness Court | The MVP Health Care Fitness Court on the College’s campus is open for the season near the Mohawk-Hudson Bike Trail Access Point. It is a FREE open-air wellness center that allows users to leverage their own body weight to get a complete workout.
  • Users can download the free Fitness Court app which acts as a coach-in-your-pocket and transforms the outdoor gym into a digitally supported wellness ecosystem.
