Shipment #7 is Headed to Grenada

Grenada, located in the southeastern Caribbean, is one of our newer recipient countries. 38% of Grenadians live under the poverty line, many suffering because of droughts and inaccessible supplies. Food For The Poor works with in-country parters to get needed supplies to families who are suffering. They also have three children's homes, part of their Angels of Hope program, that receives items for 51 children. *

Being able to ship to Grenada means that we can help make a difference and impact the lives of those who are in need of basic resources. Our mission, although to send tangible resources, is also to send the intangibles - hope and empowerment to build a better life. We do this by praying over every item, every pallet, and every shipment that leaves the Midwest Mission building.

On Wednesday, February 8, a container arrived at Midwest Mission

The final destination: Grenada.

Mission Trip to Midwest Mission Sparks a Love Story

While they did learn about Midwest Mission and serve, they also received something they didn't expect - a spark. A spark that would cause them to return one year later as Mr. and Mrs.

Prayers to Lift Up

Please take a moment and pray for those impacted by the earthquake in Syria and Turkey. Pray for peace and comfort for those who lost loved ones, pray for resources to reach those who need them most, and pray they will find hope and guidance from God in the midst of this crisis.

"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling."

Psalm 46:1-3
