Drink of the Week!

Altstadt's Schwarzbeir Lager

Altstadt’s traditional Munich-style Helles Lager is a bright, clean, malt-driven beverage brewed with the finest German malted barley. We’ve added just enough noble hops from the Hallertau region to balance out it’s malty character. Cold fermenting yeast from Weihenstephan rounds out this golden, refreshing German brew, made right here in Texas!

From the Campground

Campground Guard Shack number: 979-575-3497

  • Do NOT line up on the highway prior to noon on Friday.
  • All FoF or Participant tags must be visible.

  • If you have a campfire you must also have a fire extinguisher within easy reach of your campfire.
  • Pets must be kept on a leash in the campgrounds. Pets found wandering risk being picked up by animal control. (Reminder- Pets are not allowed in the fairegrounds.)
  • It can be tough to snag your perfect camping spot. Never fear though – if you have trouble finding where you want to go, just come back to the guard shack and ask for someone to help you!
  • Place the correct trash in the correct areas/trash bins (look for the signs).
  • Campground dumpsters are for household trash only. No bulk items (pallets, broken tents, etc). If you need help with a larger item, call the guard shack number above.
  • For closing weekend there will be an extra large dumpster near the entrance for any larger metal items.
  • The Monday after close, the campground will remain open until 6 pm for those needing a bit of extra time to pack up.
  • The two weekends after faire the campground will open from 9-5 for day trips only for FoF to come and move out.
  • If there will be a burn ban, Ray will post on the Book of Faces as soon as possible. Feel free to ask him as often as you wish. He loves that.
