Showcase Sherman Weekend Welcomes Prospective Students
Sherman College is now registering for upcoming Showcase Sherman Weekends. This is an event for prospective students to explore chiropractic and Sherman College and is designed to ignite students’ passion for leadership as well as help them begin their pursuit of becoming the next generation of DCs2B. Summer and fall registrations are open: July 28-29 and October 27-28. Thirty-Two Complete D.C. Program
at Sherman College


Thirty-two students from around the world received the doctor of chiropractic degree from Sherman College of Chiropractic in Spartanburg, SC, on Saturday, June 17, 2017. The commencement was a shared ceremony for June and September 2017 graduates.


Autopista Americas
Visits Sherman College


Twenty college career counselors and staff members with AutopistaAmericas were treated to the Sherman College experience during a half-day visit on June 5. AutopistaAmericas is an academic consulting firm that holds career/college fairs around the world; Sherman participates each summer at a large event in Puerto Rico. In addition, they conduct “reverse” tours where Autopista brings together a group of counselors from the US, Canada, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands and makes a tour of universities in the United States. “When I moved from Connecticut with my wife so she could attend Sherman, I really didn’t know what chiropractic was. Once she started the program, I learned more and more about the philosophy and why chiropractors do what they do, and I knew this is what was I called to do in order to help others be the best that they can be and to make a difference.”

Ele cts Officers


The Sherman College Chiropractic Student Government (CSG) has elected is slate of officer for 2017-2018. CSG aims to build leadership skills and relationships among students as they work within the governance process to address the needs of the student body.


CSG serves as the liason between the student body and the administration by representing the student interest. New officers include President Carolyn Oliveira, Vice President Kayla Magni, Secretary Daniel Eldridge and Treasurer Matthew Atkinson.

Sherman Prepares Graduates
for Success in Practice


Sherman is the only chiropractic college focused on teaching students the business acumen for success in practice with the G10, Graduation Plus 10, program. Sherman College has introduced into its curriculum a proven Practice Success Program that equips Sherman College graduates with the necessary business tools for career success. This is a powerful partnership with TLC4Superteams that promises to help Sherman students develop the skills they require for success as a practitioner and business owner. Health Center Names Intern of the Month
The Health Center faculty recognizes interns each month who excel in clinical performance, patient management, professionalism and analytical and adjusting technique. The May 2017 Intern of the Month is Ron Armold, a twelfth-quarter student from Lafayette, IN. He graduates in March 2018 and plans to practice in Savannah, GA, or Grand Junction, CO.
New Live Continuing Education Course: Dr. Michael Hall
Sherman College is teaming up with Michael Hall, D.C., FIACN for a seven-hour CE course, The Neurologic Screen on August 5, 2017, on campus. This seminar will provide understanding and demonstration of functional neurologic procedures that can be performed by the chiropractor to aid in analysis, diagnosis and patient outcomes. Doctors will gain a better understanding of what the “upper motor neuron” and “lower motor neuron” look like in clinical practice, the “top ten” tests to be used in every day practice; will be able to get engaged in the process of applying scientific literature to the chiropractic analysis; and will have fun with interpreting where there is “interference in function” of the nervous system and how to address subluxation of the spine. Sherman College to Host Prospective Student Event
at Mile High Chiropractic Weekend

Do you know a prospective student who is interested in helping people through the exciting health profession of chiropractic? Sherman College International and Domestic Recruiter Lina M. Guillen will host an information session at Mile High Chiropractic and would love for you to invite your prospective students to attend.

The session will be held on Saturday, August 19, at 2:15 p.m. during Mile High Chiropractic Weekend at the Marriott Westminster Hotel at 7000 Church Ranch Boulevard in Westminster, CO.
