Volunteers Needed at Open Hands Midway

Open Hands is in need of volunteers for their Monday and Wednesday meal servings. Click HERE (link this website: https://www.openhandsmidway.org/volunteering) to learn how you can sign up and what paperwork is needed. If you are not sure or would like to learn more information about what it is like to volunteer reach out to any of the staff and we can tell you about our experiences or put you in touch with our amazing members who regularly volunteer at Open Hands to share their experiences.

We are considering re-instating a weekly volunteer position and team to staff our Welcome Center. If you are interested in doing this regularly, please contact Pastor Brice

pastorbrice@shepherdshoreview.org

It would be ideal to set up a new “group” (like we have for other weekly service positions) and we need to gauge interest and commitment. Thank you in advance!

Save the Date for our next Song of Shepherd:

March 14th 7pm

Join Pavia Winds for an evening of beautiful French and German music from the Romantic period! Featuring Theodor Blumer's Schweizer Quintet, an arrangement of Debussy's Petite Suite, and short works by Jacques Ibert and Pauline Viardot. Program is on Thursday, March 14th and starts at 7pm. It is free and open to all!

Pavia Wind Quintet is one of the Midwest’s most exciting young chamber music ensembles. Formed in 2005 by musicians from area colleges and universities, the Twin Cities-based group is interested in exploring a variety of repertoire for wind soloists with an increasing focus on contemporary music. Active performers, Pavia Winds presents concerts and workshops throughout Minnesota and especially enjoys working with students to encourage enthusiasm for chamber music of all kinds.

We are looking to expand our Soundboard team, and are looking for volunteers interested in serving as a part of this ministry. Our volunteers help to monitor and adjust sound for both our 8 AM and 10 AM worship each week. We will provide all necessary training. If you are interested, please reach out to Shaun Halland, Director of Worship and Music, at music@shepherdshoreview.org.

Ralph Reeder is a food shelf, but did you know you can donate hygiene products such as toilet paper, toothpaste, and feminine care products?

Baby necessities such as diapers (sizes 4,5,6) pull-ups and wipes are needed, too. If you prefer to donate food, condiments, baking supplies and breakfast items are helpful.

Joy Team

During our 10:00 AM service, children ages three years old to fifth graders leave after the children’s message. Here, they dive into the stories that dwell at the core of Christian understanding. We use tools like crafts, games, stories, and other aids that play to the different learning styles. There is no cost for the program, and all levels of engagement are welcome to join in the learning.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to email Pastor Brice.

Have you been wanting to get more involved in Sunday worship?

We invite you to join a worship ministry to help enhance services and make them flow as seamlessly as possible. We are always looking for help with Ushering, Communion, or sharing the scripture by being a Lay Reader. No experience is necessary.

All sign-ups are based on your availability.

Please contact the office

(651-288-2252) or office@shepherdshoreview.org to get more information or to volunteer.
