Dear Artisans,

Back in January, I met with 22 of the top producers in the Willamette Valley who unquestionably released some of the finest wines they have ever made.

I am elated to bring back an unprecedented offer for you on the 2021 Shea Wine Cellars Pinot Noir Estate "Shea Vineyard".

The Shea family has been the stewards of Oregon's original Grand Cru vineyard since the late 1980s. They supply 80% of their fruit to the most elite producers name-dropped in the graphic above. This bottling represents the gloriously delicious outcome of the remaining 20% of fruit that the Shea family keeps for themselves.

This wine is a delectable masterpiece, and already was an absolute steal at its original price of $50 per bottle. But hold onto your glasses, because we must be tipsy to offer this exquisite wine at just $39.97 per bottle for 6-pack purchases. Any fine wine lover would be wise to seize this opportunity. Hurry though; there are only 48 bottles available out of only 3,385 cases made.

The 2021 Vintage is a "Cinderalla Story" in Oregon! From Wine Business:

Outstanding 2021 Oregon Harvest Foreshadows Quality Vintage

"2020 was a heartbreaking year for the Oregon wine industry. In the Willamette Valley and Columbia River Gorge, early September wildfires created dense clouds of smoke and ruined many wine grapes. A devastating fire ravaged several communities around Medford, even destroying one winery.

With memories of last year still fresh in people’s minds, the 2021 growing season was a tense one. “We were all just holding our breath all summer,” said Luisa Ponzi, director of winemaking and viticulture at Ponzi Vineyards.

But in the end, the year was everything growers and winemakers could have hoped for. “It’s the best harvest that I have in recent memory,” said Steven Thompson with Analemma Wines in the Columbia River Gorge. “It was extra special this year to be able to move through harvest in a normal fashion and be able to taste the beautiful flavors and not be inhibited on making great wines. I truly believe these are some of the best (wines) we’ve ever had the privilege to produce.”

He’s not alone in that statement. Everywhere you turn, professionals are predicting 2021 will be an outstanding vintage."

There's no need for predictions as the 2021s we have tasted are absolutely dazzling and boast the most exceptional quality we've seen since 2012 and 2016.

Stay cool friends,

—James Tran

2021 Shea Wine Cellars Pinot Noir Estate

"Shea Vineyard" Yamhill-Carlton, Willamette Valley

94 Points - International Wine Report:

"The 2021 Shea Estate Pinot Noir is still incredibly young but absolutely gorgeous and sports a medium neon ruby core with a blueish rim. Red raspberry, candied rose petals, crushed sour red cherries, milk chocolate, whole clove, and saline jump from the glass. Lush across the palate and very well balanced, it’s ready to drink now and will be fantastic over the next 8 years."

93 Points - James Suckling:

Cranberries, red currants, sour cherries and orange zest on the nose, with hints of licorice. Bright and fruit forward, with excellent tension too, and tight, fine-grained tannins. It’s medium-bodied, sleek and fresh. Drink now or hold.

93 Points - Wine Spectator:

Opens with a burst of fresh raspberry and tart blueberry flavors, then slowly builds tension along with minerality and forest floor accents as this moves toward fine-grained tannins. Drink now through 2030. 3,385 cases made.

93 Points - Decanter:

A classic bottling from one of the Willamette's most renowned vineyard sites, a selected blend from across the 80ha Shea Vineyard. Aromas of fresh red and blue berry fruits, alongside turned earth and umami character. The palate shows a lift and liveliness. Fresh red currant, ripe raspberries and a hint of savoury green herbs and black tea are carried out by ample acidity. (Drink between 2023-2036)
