March blew in like a lion for a refreshing change of pace.
The S&P 500 recently had its best weekly performance this year as the Federal Reserve (Fed) signaled that rate cuts remain on the horizon for 2024. Bond yields fell on the news as bond investors interpreted this as a signal that inflation headwinds will subside.

An Early Spring Break


Tammy and I took a quick trip to Florida in late February to beat the Spring Breakers. We succeeded, I think. We were in the St. Petersburg/Treasure Island area, and we took a Sunset Cruise out of John’s Pass on Madeira Beach. It was a wonderful day, but when the sunset came, it was a bit chilly, but the views were spectacular.
